Digger Is Loud, Unfunny & Wants To Lecture You

There are a lot of good movies in the theaters right now. Digger is certainly not one of them. I have a mini-review of the new Tom Cruise stinker below as well as Resident Evil, Primetime, Heart Of The Beast and The Weight. Digger thinks it’s the smartest guy in the room. It’s not. It also thinks it

Insidious: Out Of The Further Is A Stale Chore To Get Through

Insidious: Out Of The Further is a stale chore of a movie. I have a mini-review of that below along with Toy Story 5, The End Of Oak Street, Tony, Nimrods and The Brink Of War. Luckily, those are all better movies. Insidious: Out Of The Further is such a chore. It’s a reminder how far the horror gen

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Is Another Example Of The Most Consistently Entertaining Franchise In Movies

Spider-Man: Brand New Day delivers exactly what you want from a Spider-Man movie: an entertaining summer blockbuster. There is a mini-review of this below along with Motor City, The Death Of Robin Hood and The Christophers. Those three are all smaller movies but each deserve a watch. Spider-Man migh

The Odyssey Is An Absolute Masterpiece

Christopher Nolan has made yet another incredible movie. I have a mini-review of The Odyssey along with Jackass: Best & Last, Gail Daughtry & The Celebrity Sex Pass and Evil Dead Burn. The Odyssey is so incredible, it made me love a fantasy epic. I typically hate this genre. Between the dialogue and

The New Live Action Moana Is Stale & Lifeless

Disney releases another live action cartoon that is lifeless this weekend. I have a mini-review below as well as reviews of The Invite, Young Washington, Minions & Monsters and Supergirl. When people talk about the Disney live action remakes being stale and lifeless, Moana might be the best new exam

Jeff Probst Had An All-Time Live TV Fuck Up & Spoiled An Elimination On Survivor Finale

Jeff Probst is the best game show host ever. He does an incredible job hosting my favorite reality show Survivor. But, boy did he fuck up tonight. The season finale tonight was cutting back and forth between a live reunion special and the taped footage from Fiji. A risky and seemingly needless move

The Sheep Detectives Is Much Better Than Mortal Kombat 2

When it comes to which is a better movie, The Sheep Detectives commits a fatality on Mortal Kombat 2. I have mini-reviews of both as well as Hokem, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Over Your Dead Body. All of those are better than Mortal Kombat 2 as well. Mortal Kombat 2 kinda sucks. Mortal Kombat 2 is b

Michael Is Bland Hero Worship & Other Reviews

The biggest release this week (and maybe all month) is the Michael Jackson biopic. It's projected to make $150 million in the international box office this weekend alone. I have a mini-review of Michael below as well as Lee Cronin's The Mummy, Balls Up, You, Me & Tuscany and the new Lorne Michaels d

Is 'Dante's Peak' or 'Volcano' The Better Movie? (Déjà View, Ep. 02)

ICYMI, Klemmer, Gooch and I are doing a new series where we put twin films head-to-head and decide which one is better. Last week, we did 'The Illusionist' vs 'The Prestige', which was a pretty one sided battle. That's not the case in this episode. It came down to the wire and you can watch the enti

Is 'The Prestige' or 'The Illusionist' The Better Movie? (Déjà View, Ep. 01)

In case you're not familiar with Twin Films, it's two movies with a similar plot that are released around the same time. It seems like something that should happen almost never, but it happens a lot! So I decided to do a new miniseries where myself, Klemmer and Gooch put some of these twin films in

We had martial arts actor Joe Taslim, star of some of the greatest action movies ever including THE RAID, in to promote his new movie THE FURIOUS. He was awesome enough to come with us to a gym to teach us how to give hits, get hits, and fall down without dying. Then he shot this entire action scene
