Juraj Slafkovsky Should Have To Send Darnell Nurse A Hand-Written Apology Letter For What He Did To Him Here
We've had anti-bullying campaigns here in America for at least the past 30 years. Now granted, Juraj Slafkovsky grew up in Slovakia. He currently plays for the Montreal Canadiens. So I guess from a technical standpoint, he's never lived in America. He's never learned the dangers of bullying. Nobody ever told him that it's not cool to do that, and that it could really hurt somebody's feelings.
Do you think Darnell Nurse likes to feel like an absolute idiot getting completely walked like this out on a sheet of ice playing in the National Hockey League?
Not at all. This isn't some video game filled with computer generated players. Darnell Nurse is a real human being with real feelings. But did that stop Juraj Slafkovsky from essentially pulling his underwear over his head? Not even in the slightest bit of hesitation.
Sick move, though, all things considered. This is the type of nonsense you pull on your buddies while you're playing street hockey. Maybe not the type of move you'd expect to see get pulled against a guy who makes $9.25 million per year to be a professional hockey defenseman. But I guess when your balls are the size of Juraj Slafkovsky's, you can march to the beat of your own drum.
