Don't Worry, Everybody. The Eagles Season Has Officially Been Saved After Big Dom Promised The Team Would Get Things Fixed

Well there you have it. Why would you feel the need to panic anymore?

I mean, sure, maybe the head coach is completely useless and his lack of situational awareness has now killed the Eagles for 2 weeks in a row. Sure, the offensive line can't block because they're just a bunch of dudes Howie Roseman pulled off the street a few weeks ago. Half the team is on IR, the quarterback hasn't shown any signs that he's able to consistently make the right and quick decision, the defense is soft, and special teams seems like an afterthought. But aside from all that, there is nothing to worry about.

Especially not when Big Dom is out here personally promising the Eagles will get it fixed. If Big Dom says so, then it has to be true.

How are they going to get it fixed? Well that's for Big Dom to know, and for you to find out. Maybe it would take something like, I don't know, the offensive coordinator to actually be down on the sideline calling games. The Eagles currently have a historically abysmal 2nd half offense. Out of every offense in the last 25 years, they are ranked the absolute worst in the 2nd half. We're talking 800 offenses, and this current Eagles team is as bad as it gets in the 2nd half.

You want to put Sean Mannion up in the press box during the 1st half of games just so he can see how everything is developing? Fine. Whatever. But he needs to be down on the sideline to make the adjustments he needs to make to get this thing going in the 2nd half. This is just disgusting to look at.

So maybe that's how Big Dom can save the season. Maybe Big Dom can get his big ass off the sideline and make some room for Sean Mannion down there. Maybe Big Dom can take his big ass up to the press box for a game. Maybe that require Big Dom to put his ego aside and stop trying to squeeze his way into as many camera shots as possible. But if Big Dom promises to turn the season around, then I guess we'll have to see if he's a man of his word.
