It Can't Get Any Better Than Winning A Fight Right In Front Of The Other Team's Bench

There might not be a more "man in the arena" moment in sports than a hockey or lacrosse fight right in front of the opposing team's bench. Even when we're talking about boxing or UFC, you're in front of a giant crowd but it's not like you're directly in front of 20 other dudes who are waiting for you to get fucked up.

This moment right here only goes one of two ways. Either you get your shit rocked, and all 20 dudes on the bench let you know all about it as you pick yourself up off the ground. Or you do what 34 in black did right here and lay someone out while making sure the rest of the bench knows that they can get some, too.

You're either toast for the rest of the game, or you're king of the castle. There's no middle ground here because even if nobody wins the fight, you're getting relentlessly chirped on your way past the bench. The only way to come out top here is with the knock out, and buddy delivered.

Quick sidenote here but if more and more Canadians are going to come down to America to play college lacrosse, then I think they need to start opening up more spots for American kids to go up and play Junior A box lacrosse up in Canada. I know there have been a few who have gone up there in the summers recently like Mac O'Keefe, Joey Spallina, and CJ Kirst. But I'd love to see a few more Americans get a chance to play this style of ball.
