Brad Marchand Believes In "No Child Left Behind", Gives Travis Konecny A Quick Piggy Back Ride To Get His 4 Nations Medal
Well isn't that just the cutest darned thing you ever did see. Papa Rat giving Baby Rat a little ride to collect his medal. Say what you want about Brad Marchand and what an annoying little prick that fella is, but you can't say he's not a great teammate. Just look at how much fun the Rat Pack is having.

Getty Images.In hindsight, Jon Cooper may have made one of the worst tactical decisions in the entire 9-day history of the 4 Nations Faceoff by scratching Travis Konecny out of the lineup, and replacing him with Seth Jarvis. There were a couple of times in that game when Seth Jarvis had a premium chance to get Canada on the board, but he just didn't have it in him to sneak the puck by Hellebuyck.
Konecny is a killer. He doesn't just accidentally have the 17th most points in the NHL this year. Konecny puts those chances away, and that game never even needs overtime in the first place. So Jon Cooper better be thanking his lucky bubble gum that Connor McDavid exists, or else he'd look like a total putz right now.
Sidenote: Konecny cruising up to get his medal on Marchand's back reminds me of this other all-time Flyers moment.
