Adult Baby Steve Valiquette Shits His Diapers On Rangers Broadcast Because Jack Hughes Tried To Score On Igor Shesterkin

Holy fuckin' shit, buddy. Can someone please tell Steve Valiquette what aisle the Pampers are in? Poor guy needs to restock ASAP.

Listen. There have been plenty of "boomer" takes on hockey broadcasts over the past few years while the skill level in the NHL continues to skyrocket. The issue with these broadcasts is you bring in all these former players who played the game 30 years ago, have absolutely no idea about the equipment technology and style of the game today, and just spend every game throwing temper tantrums that players aren't dumping and chasing the way they used to.

But out of all the shit-for-brains, get-the-fuck-out-of-television takes that have ever been spewed on an NHL broadcast, Steve Valiquette takes the cake for being the biggest bozo out of all of them. Because most of the time those tantrums are about players like Zegras attempting to pull off the Michigan every night. Jack Hughes simply attempted one of the most common moves in the game nowadays against "supposedly" one of the best goalies on the planet last night, and Valiquette thinks Hughes should have had his head ripped off.

46 games in the NHL spread out through 6 seasons. It's no wonder Steve Valiquette thought Jack Hughes was trying to embarrass Shesterkin there, and that's because guys were probably embarrassing him every single day at practice. The man has PTSD of getting put in a blender for 2 hours every day before having to open the bench door every game night.

"I know in my day, that Colton Orr would have been hanging over the bench banging his stick saying 'I'm coming after you'".

Calm down, sugar tits. Colton Orr would have to be screaming at Jack Hughes from up in the press box today.

You played in a day when Peter Forsberg was literally the only player in the game to pull off that move. There's not a single 12-year-old playing hockey right now who hasn't at least attempted the Forsberg today. Jack Hughes isn't trying to embarrass Igor Shesterkin. He's just trying to score on a goalies who are 1) massively more athletic than goalies were before in the 90s, and 2) are wearing ginormous pads. You can't just shoot glove side and get it past these guys like you used to be able to do on Steve Valiquette.

Rangers are 4-6 in their last 10 games. I think if anybody is embarrassing the Rangers out there lately, it's themselves.
