It's Week 7 And The Philadelphia Eagles Professional Football Team Is Still Yet To Score A Single Point In The 1st Quarter Of A Game

At this point I feel like it's a bit. As if they are actively trying to be the biggest shitheads in the world during the 1st quarters of games. It's the only way to explain what is going on here through the first 7 weeks of the Eagles season.

This team has 2 elite receivers. They have an elite running back. They have a great tight end. They have what is supposed to be one of the best offensive lines in football. They have a quarterback who has had his head shoved deeply up his own ass for close to a year now, but still fully capable of making plays happen out there. The amount of skill on this roster matched up with the complete and total lack of productivity in the 1st quarter? If I were Jeffrey Lurie, I'd legitimately have to fight Nick Sirianni on the sideline today.

Imagine spending a billion dollars on this roster just to see them run some wildcat nonsense that gets blown up behind the LOS and completely stalls out one of the only promising drives they had all quarter. They haven't scored a point in the 1st quarter yet this season, and we're running trick plays now?

You know what? Maybe the coaching staff are all a bunch of hockey guys. Maybe they'd rather just play 3 periods instead of 4 quarters, so they decided to completely disregard the 1st quarter entirely.

But 6 games and 0 points in the 1st quarter when the majority of those plays are all scripted by Nick Sirianni? It's the most egregious case of coaching malpractice in the NFL right now, and the Eagles organization isn't going to do a damn thing about it. Gross.

Good news for everyone is that the 2nd quarter started and the Eagles could finally start playing football. Welcome back to New York, Saquon Barkley.

But at least all the Giants fans got to boo him really loud earlier in the day! Great job, Reags. You idiots.

Go Birds.
