It's Time For Zach Ertz To Come Home After Finally Being Able To Escape Arizona

Thanks, JJ!

It sucks that Zach Ertz came up in probably the greatest generation of tight ends ever. Because in almost any other generation, Zach Ertz is one of the greats. But he's had guys like Gronk and Travis Kelce and George Kittle to compete against. So plenty of times, Ertz gets a little forgotten about. Especially considering you'd have to add up his last 3 seasons together to match the best year of his career.

Either way, Zach Ertz ain't know dummy. He's a Super Bowl champion, he knows his time in this game is coming to an end, and wants one more kick at the can. He doesn't need to be the main threat at TE, but he'd be the best available TE2 by a mile for any team.

Especially considering that one team out there is currently down their starting tight end at the moment. And even if that guy is able to get himself back in the lineup this weekend, they're still down another backup tight end. And even the backup tight end that is currently healthy isn't any sort of threat offensively. On top of everything…#86 is still available.

Goedert comes back from his broken arm. Zach Ertz at TE2. If there's one thing that's missing from this Eagles offense so far this year, it's production from the tight ends. Now you have a chance to have two of the best together out there, and Zach Ertz can be the Brent Celek type of presence he had to Dallas Goedert.

I wouldn't be shocked to find out that Howie orchestrated this whole thing. It all falls into place too perfectly. Do the thing, Howie!
