Marshawn Lynch Calling SlamBall Is The Future Of Sports Broadcasting

You want to talk about some of the most iconic calls in sports broadcasting history? Do you believe in Miracles? Down goes Frazier? Better than most?

The conversation starts and ends with...

"If this was Sonic, all his coins woulda been knocked out right now. You woulda been hearing BADINGDINGDINGDINGDING. Sit him on his back pockets! Sit him on his ass cheeks!"

Some guys just have it. Some guys are just built for the moment. You can practice all you want. You can go over your flashcards. You can practice your calls in the mirror. But once that moment comes and you're on the spot, it's all about what you already have inside of you. Some guys freeze up, and some guys deliver. Holy heck did Marshawn Lynch deliver.

Literally anybody can be a sports broadcaster if their only reaction to a massive hit is to scream "OHHHHHHhhhhhh". Take that shit to the UFC. If you want to be an elite SlamBall broadcaster, you need to have those references dialed in. Sonic getting planted on his ass and losing all his coins is the perfect one. Adding the sound effects makes you feel like you had a Sega Genesis controller in your hands.

All I know is the NFL done fucked up. Fox is getting ready to pay Tom Brady $375 million to say "let's go" after every play. Meanwhile, I doubt SlamBall even had to pay Marshawn Lynch. Guy just shows up for the love of the game. And so he doesn't get fined.
