PRAY FOR EVERY BRICK WALL THROUGHOUT THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL ABOUT TO GET RAN THROUGH TODAY.

This right here is why Doc Rivers is one of the great motivators of a generation. Some men just have a feel for their team. They have their finger on the pulse. They know what makes their guys tick, and what is going to rile up that contagious and infectious levels of passion inside of them.

You think about some of the most emboldened speeches in relatively modern history. Herb Brooks to the 1980 US men's olympic hockey team. Winston Churchill's "we shall fight on the beaches". Bill Pullman as President Whitmore in "Independence Day". All of these speeches were able to muster enough courage and bravery and confidence amongst a group of people to come together and achieve the impossible.

Doc Rivers' "C'mon, guys" is now up there with the best of them.

"C'mon, guys. C'mon! But listen--it's up to y'all what you wanna do. We gotta trust. C'mon. We gotta get motion and movement. C'mon. C'mon. Let's go. Let's go. C'mon".

I hate to out myself for being a nerd here, but I've never dabbled in the usage of crack cocaine. If I did, however, I sense it would feel very similar to how the entire Sixers bench felt after hearing that speech from Doc. Just bottle that speech up and inject it directly into my veins. It honestly feels like it should be illegal for that speech to happen. It's almost like a PED. The Nets already stood no chance after Doc Rivers said "c'mon" for the 3rd time. But then when he proceeded to say it another 3 times after that? The game was over. Brooklyn's season was over.

Sidenote: I think the next timeout the Sixers call, they should just read a bunch of old BBall Paul tweets in the huddle.

Sidenote #2: If for some reason you still need your morning coffee even after listening to that speech, then make it a cup of Stella Blue.
