Jeff Fisher Proved Once And For All That You're Never Too Old To Rock A Backwards Hat

Like a healthy handful of Americans, I didn't watch a lick of USFL football yesterday. I feel like I've watched enough of Shea Patterson being bad at football to last me a lifetime, so tuning into some USFL action would just be getting greedy. Are the drone shots pretty sweet? Sure. But we're also almost at a point as a society we've been droned to death, so it's not like the drone replays are that sweet. Moral of the story here is the USFL needs something totally different and revolutionary to capture and keep my attention.

And they may have just found that with Cool Jeff Fisher.

That right there is a bad mama jamma. The type of dude who is one little wink away from being your next step dad. The hoodie, the mustache, the backwards hat, the magnetic reading glasses that snap together at the front, it all just exudes so much sex. Some would venture to say even too much sex, but the real ones know that's no possible. If the USFL is ever going to take off instead of just being another one of these failed secondary football leagues that last for a few weeks before fading into Bolivian, it's going to take all the Cool Jeff Fisher the league can throw our way.

Also not only is this a monumental moment for the league, but a monumental moment for all of us who are getting up there in age and starting to get a bit concerned with how much longer we can keep going with the backwards hat. I just turned 30 a couple weeks ago and admittedly, it's not sitting well with me. 30 is one of those ages where you REALLY feel like you're an adult, even if you don't want to identify as one still. There's no hiding from 30. And as a longtime backwards hat wearer guy, I've been fearful that perhaps I reached the limit of my backwards hat wearing days. I mean at some point you have to listen to Colin Cowherd and grow up and wear your hats forward, right?

WRONG.

Dead wrong. Couldn't be more wrong even if you tried. Because age is just a number, baby. And as long as you never let the party die in your soul, you can keep rocking that backwards hat until the day you die and still look like a total stallion whilst doing so. Jeff Fisher isn't just a hero to football, he's a hero to each and every single one of us. Suck it, Colin.
