Ryan Hartman Got Fined By The League For Flipping Off Evander Kane, Immediately Receives A Venmo From Kane's Ex-Wife

The other night in the Minnesota Wild vs Edmonton Oilers game, Ryan Hartman's wires crossed a bit when Evander Kane decided to go after Kirill Kaprizov in a 5-1 game. Hartman immediately went after Kane, tried to rip his face off, was separated by the linesman, and made sure to let Kane know exactly how he felt about him as he was getting pulled away with the ol' single finger salute.

Apparently that's a no-no in the National Hockey League. Can't be flipping guys the bird in the show. Gary Bettman won't have any of it. And I'd imagine this will end up being the most expensive fingering of Ryan Hartman's life, as it came to the tune of 4 grand.

Ryan Hartman isn't exactly hurting in the wallet. But I'd argue he's absolutely the most underpaid player in the league right now. Maybe even more so than MacKinnon. Hartman is about to have a 30 goal, 30 assist season while being the spark plug for this Wild team that looks like they can make a deep run in the playoffs, and he's making $1.7M AAV for this year and the next 2 seasons. He picked a BRUTAL year to have a breakout season. But the moral of the story is that Ryan Hartman has enough money to cover the fine, and I'm sure the team would cover it for him anyway. Even still, that's not going to stop Evander Kane's ex-wife from helping to cover the bill.

There have been plenty of reports that have come out from the relationship between Evander and Anna Kane. All of it is still alleged at the time, but I think it's safe to assume that Evander Kane isn't the best guy. I'd argue at the very least without anything being confirmed, you could still draw the conclusion that he's a pretty shitty individual. So I'm sure this was some of the easiest 200 dollars Anna Kane ever spent. "Well worth it".
