This Man Has To Be A Character In The Next Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

One of my favorite things about THPS is the completely preposterous physics of the game which allows some of the most ordinary objects in the real world to be transformed into ramps your skater can propel off of to land a 900. Take highway dividers, for example. You can't actually use a highway divider as a ramp in real life. But in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? You can 720 kickflip to Christ Air off of one of those bad boys. You can also grind electrical wires in THPS with zero regard for electrocuting yourself to death. Again, the physics of the game are just a tad on the unrealistic side.

This fella right here, however? Grinding a full 2 loops around that stock tank? That's a man who is sick of playing Tony Hawk on his Xbox and decided to just do the damn thing in real life. Probably even figured out a way to turn on the perfect rail balance cheat code, too.

But the most shocking part of this video is how delayed the reaction of the dude behind the camera is. Why did that man wait so long to lose his mind? Was he just in total shock for the first 3 seconds after the trick was landed? Was he just waiting for him to roll out of the trick? It can't just be that the audio of the video is playing tricks on us because the sound of the skater landing syncs up perfectly fine. Awesome grind, bizarre delay on the celebration.
