Jesse Cole dreamed of being a baseball player, but when his dreams fell short, he turned his attention to team management. Taking over the Savanah San Gnats after they lost MLB affiliation, Cole began experimenting with wild promos to attract fans. The promotions started to take on a life of their own, and Banana Ball was born. Over the next few years, the Savanah Bananas became a viral sensation selling out their ballpark as they became a viral sensation. Today, the Bananas are a barnstorming team that consistently sells out MLB stadiums, as the league continues to grow with four teams in 2025 and more teams set to debut in 2026. I had a chance to discuss the unique experience of Savanah Bananas baseball with Jesse Cole, the man in the yellow suit, to see what is next as Banana Ball continues to grow.
