Breaking Down The Karen Read Trial Before She Goes Back To Court On April 1st
I have never, and I mean never been destroyed as much online as I have after this episode aired. Apparently people are much more invested in the trial than I thought. Not only that, everyone is an expert! Just look at the replies to this tweet...
I'll admit that I could've done a bit more research, but we were reacting to the HBO documentary "A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read." That's it.
Having said that, after reading the replies, talking to Jerry Thornton, and deep diving into the evidence, I can confidently say that this trial is wayyyyyyyy more complex that I initially thought. I've also done a complete 180 and now think (for the time being) that she was framed. Time will tell.
Regardless, her retrial starts April 1st so keep an eye out for Jerry's blogs covering the case. Thanks for reading!
