Tank Cooks Air Fried Popcorner Crusted Popcorn Chicken
The recipe was sent by Wyatt Saunders
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast is cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 1 large bag of Popcorner chips
- 2 Eggs - Seasonings - accent, salt, pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, etc.
- Large Ziploc bag
Directions:
- Take your Popcorners and put them in a large ziploc bag. Use a rolling pin, mallet, meat pounder, or your hands to crush the chips into a powder. This may take a while and could actually be done in a blender to get them into a fine powder.
- Cut your chicken thighs or breasts into whatever shape you want. You can make strips by making long, thin slices, or more of a cube, popcorn chicken shape if you prefer.
- Beat your eggs into a bowl with the preferred seasoning.
- One by one, dip your chicken in the egg and then move to the Popcorner crust mixture.
- Once all your chicken is coated, spray the bottom of your air fryer and place however much chicken you want to make for one serving.
- Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for about 8 minutes, then flip, spray again, and cook for another 6-8 minutes. Keep an eye on them; you can pull them out when they seem done.
- Enjoy with your favorite sauces/sides!
