The South Side Baseball Experience > North Side Baseball Experience
100% capacity was back for the first time this past weekend at Sox Park. Unfortunately it was a monsoon the entire weekend and still sort of is, but that didn't stop myself, Section 108, Sox on 35th, and the Sox On Tap crews from getting a few 100 people out at a tailgate. We got hammered. We ate brats. We didn't wear masks and all that shit. And apparently I was singing Come and Get Your Love karaoke at Cork and Kerry's after even though I know literally just the title and that part of the song's lyrics and nothing else. Perfect day that would have only been topped if I got laid. Maybe next time.
I love this team and fanbase. Can't do this kinda shit at most other spots in baseball. Our camera guy Tom, fresh out of Manhattan, even said the South Side baseball experience is way better than the North Side baseball experience. Ask him for yourself. If you're an out of towner, this is the place to be. Not that Northside cookie cutter Walmart experience bullshit you'll see 8 miles north.
Let's get this team hot again.
