The New April Fools Episode Of Rick & Morty "Bushland Adventures" Is An Outrageously Demented Australian Treat
As a self made psychopath and huge fan of dementia overall, even I am at a loss for words with this rabbit hole folks. Last year, the Rick & Morty Season 3 premiere dropped literally out of the clouds on April Fools Day, and blessed us all for an entire day of streaming + Szechuan Sauce fun (before the dark times… before the crowds came from the Nerd Empire). This time it’s one day later with about the same streaming premise, aside from the fact that it’s a bizarro world Australian rules version of our inter-dimensional adventurers…
Gotta say, I DO NOT hate it. It has a certain je ne sais quoi that is so twisted and yet somehow so enjoyable for 15 minutes. Random Max Payne style facial changes, popping eyeball veins, threats upon innocent children, and murdered villains having their souls absorbed into family cars is PLENTY to entertain for me. Also I somehow never realized this before but wow… Anything yelled in Australian is so incredibly satisfying. Enjoy the stream till midnight.
