Markelle Fultz Is BACK! Like, For Real This Time! Seriously!

The Sixers SPANKED the 40-win Nuggets to the tune of 123-104. The game started to get out of hand by the end of the 3rd and was all smooth sailing for Philly in the 4th. But obviously the story of the night is how the #1 overall pick Markelle Fultz is officially Tiger worthy BACK. I mean, just look at this layup!

The kind of form that makes the WNBA wet. Look, there’s no denying he looked and played a little…raw. Fultz had airballs. He had shots blocked. Hell, on his first touch he spazzed the ball over. However, no matter how Fultz looked, you can’t exactly deny the results. The #1 overall pick played in 14 minutes off the bench and added 10 points, 8 assists, and 4 boards (all on the offensive glass) all while that initial spaz being his sole turnover. +16 on the evening. Not too shabby, you say? Shit. It may have looked a bit off, but that’s an absolutely great performance on paper.

There’s also no denying babying of Fultz by the organization. Marc Zumoff almost compared Fultz making a bucket over Mr. Magoo Mason Plumlee 13-ft out inside the paint to Iverson crossing up Jordan. So that’s…something. You gotta give this kid some confidence as he returns from his “Shoulder” problems and definitely not the yips. But everybody seems like their on the same page from the encouraging fans washing his balls the entire night to Simmons and Embiid chiming in after the game:

Me thinks everything is going to be just fine. Not to mention the Sixers are not just clicking, but DOMINATING at the right time. They’ve won by double digits in their last 4. Victorious in 7 in a row. 8 of their last 9. 18-1 in the last 19 at home. That’s 43 wins with 9 games left and the 3-seed in sight. Let’s end it stronger and CUE IT UP BITCHES.

PS – Don’t care the Sixers have the last two #1 overall picks in their front court and both would get standing ovations if they hit a shot outside 15-feet. Legit amazing stuff. Complete The Process, baby. Complete it.
