By the look of the Barstool homepage and Reags’ fingers becoming bloody stumps on his keyboard, it is pretty clear that This. Is. March. The Madness is back and along with it comes all the great stuff. Bracket talk. Big Cat and Pres living/dying with their bets on video. And the return of one of the greatest songs in all of television. That’s right, the NCAA on CBS song.

So that got me thinking about which songs should be in an Eliminator. Obviously there are a ton of options. The GOAT John Williams made the Sunday Night Football song. The NFL on FOX song turns every football fan’s soul into Cletus The Robot instantly. And The Olympics song is so good, it makes people care about sports like swimming and figure skating every four years. I would also talk about the NHL on ESPN song, but I’m pretty sure the Hockey Hardos will call me out for not being a big enough hockey fan to discuss such a relic.

So here are the four contestants I chose. One song that reminds you of naps and the return of warm weather. Another that brings back memories of day drinking or trying to watch games on your computer at work when the boss isn’t watching. Maybe the most recognizable sports song in the world. And in my opinion the greatest song ever written.
