Villagers Found A Meteor And Put It In The Fridge For Safe Keeping----Whoops It's Airplane Poop

Newsweek- Residents of an Indian village near New Delhi were mystified by a large ball of ice that fell from the sky on Saturday morning, creating a hole a foot deep in a wheat field. The owner of the field in Fazilpur Badli village, identified as Rajbir Yadav in some media reports and as Balwan in others, summoned the village head while a group of people who gathered to determine the nature of the object put forward several hypotheses, according to local news outlets. Was it a meteor? A rare mineral, perhaps? A celestial object of sorts? Some of the villagers took a few pieces of the object, brought them home and stored them in their refrigerators for safekeeping. “Since the waste did not melt for long, we mistook it for a meteor. We summoned the scientists who prima facie confirmed that it was human excreta. It later melted. Still, we have sent the sample for forensic examination,” said local official Vivek Kalia, quoted in The Hindu, adding that the human waste likely came from an airplane toilet.

These poor villagers. That’s not a meteor. That’s a big ol frozen chunk of poopy. If that scene from Joe Dirt didn’t immediately jump to your mind upon reading the story then we can’t be friends. It’s just not in the cards. Joe Dirt is the only reason I blogged the story. All I could think about was Joe Dirte getting his heartbroken AGAIN by a frozen hunk of crap. He ate ketchup and fries off that frozen hunk of crap. They were pals. And then he had his heart ripped in half.

Same goes for these villagers. They thought they’d stumbled upon a piece of space. A priceless space heirloom that had been hurdling through the deepest depths of our solar system. A chunk that had seen areas of the universe that man never will. Only to find out that it was a large chunk of human shit. Devastating.

Joe Dirt is a masterpiece of a movie by the way. That’s not a joke. It’s a masterpiece. I hesitate to call it underrated because it’s not. Ask anyone what they think of Joe Dirt and their face will light up with a giant smile. They’ll probably even hit you tight a quote. There’s a million of them. It’s hilarious. I mean just look at this rating on Rotten Tomatoes

I will admit that 63% is lower than I thought it’d be but I included that to show how dumb Rotten Tomatoes is. 11%?!?!?! Get the fuck outta here. Get off your high horse and laugh at a man getting covered in human shit after mistaking it for an atom bomb. That’s what makes life worth living. Joe Dirt is the movie me and my pals would watch at 2:30am when we got home from the bars. We probably watched it over 200 times. And Brandy is a SMOKE so that helps. A masterpiece.
