Ski Bro Jumps Over Two Houses, Two Trucks And A Deck In The First Crazy Ski Video Of The Season

I’ve watched this video a thousand times and I plan on watching it at least a thousand more. Everything about it’s perfect: the music, the flow, the build up, the background. Makes me want to grab my K2’s and hit the slopes. I’ve always been more of a big air guy, but this urban ski stuff is pretty cool. He went street to house to house to trash cans to truck to deck to street to eighteen-wheeler in like ten seconds. It takes an incredible amount of focus just to land one ski jump, let alone eight in a row. If you’ve ever skied you know what I’m talking about. It’s one of those things that looks super easy but in reality, is impossible. The entire lead up you tell yourself, “Stay tucked, don’t cross your tips, lean forward.” Then the second you catch air it’s a disaster- arms fully extended, knees locked, poles all over the place. Best case scenario you ski out of there looking like an idiot, worst it’s a broken neck. At least that’s how it is for normal people. Then you have guys who do stuff like this who are on a whole other level.

It’s a great YouTube hole to get into if you have the time. Not only are tricks insane but ski culture as a whole is hilarious. It’s like a headier, drunker version surf of culture except they’re absolute diehards. There’s an entire community of seasonal workers who move out to these mountain towns to work the lifts just so they can ride for free. They’re usually white guys with dreadlocks and a bad drinking problem but that’s not important. What’s important is that they love what they do. And as long as they keep the lifts running so these guys can keep pumping out videos, they can do whatever they want.
