Sad News: The 2018 Vans Warped Tour Will Be The Last One Ever

Well damn. If that isn’t the saddest news I don’t know what is (hyperbole, please spare me the actual sad news). The Warped Tour is a music institution. Every band that you have listened to every day since you were 12….I mean that you listened to growing up and definitely still don’t listen to, performed on the Warped Tour. Blink, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory, and so many more were the backbone and foundation of the tour, and growing punk rock. I mean shit, even Eminem played the Warped Tour in 1999. That’s how awesome the tour was. Green Day was huge and they traveled the Warped Tour in 2000.

And now…it’s over. But I have a feeling Warped Tour 2018 is going to be can’t miss stuff. All the legends are going to come back at one stop or another. (Holds breath for Tom joining Blink for one more show).

Something else will of course come out of the ashes and replace Warped Tour, so don’t be deterred my friends. Sure, it won’t be the same, but punk rock will live forever, best believe that.

PS: Man I miss HFStival. Feel like radio as we once knew it died with HFS.
