DJ Swearinger Told A Kid He'd Get 2 INTs For Him...And Then Went Out And Did It

My only question is- how often do players make promises to kids/fans and then not follow through with it? It has to be every game, right? Because just last week we saw Devin Funchess of the Panthers promise a fallen solider’s mother he would score a TD…and then he did, and now we see Swearinger promise a kid 2 INTs…and he did! So how often are guys making promises and then going out and completely whiffing? That would suck so much. This little kid with cancer comes up to Brock Osweiler before the game like “hi Brock, I’m a little kid with cancer and I have 2 weeks to live” and Brock is like “don’t you worry, champ. I’m going to throw 3 TDs and get the win for you” and then he goes out and does Brock Osweiler things and the kid dies the next day like poor Nelson in the hospital after Stan’s team loses to the Red Wings.

That being said, good for Swearinger. Who promises not just 1 pick, but TWO, and then follows through? Maybe he should start promising more Terrelle Pryor catches or more Gruden playcalls including Chris Thompson, that’d be nice.
