Jim Boeheim's Son Scores His First Career College Basket For Cornell Right In Jim's Eyeball On The First Play of the Game

How would you like to start your NCAA basketball career? How about starting as a freshman? Sure. How about playing against your dad who happens to be a Hall of Fame legend? Pretty cool. What about hitting a corner three on the first play of the game at the fucking Carrier Dome where you basically called home your entire life? Get the fuck outta here. Have a night Jimmy Boeheim. Jim Boehiem’s son made his NCAA debut tonight against of all teams Syracuse and couldn’t have scripted a better start. Growing up as a kid he watched as his dad became a living legend in the area and had to have dreamed of this type of moment his whole life. Now he clearly wasn’t blessed with the best basketball skills of all time as he’s playing at Cornell, but I guarantee he’ll never forget tonight. I mean this pic that Rovell tweeted out of Jimmy on the court after the ’03 championship with his dad is priceless.

Jimmy ended up with 11 points, but the Orange handled Cornell easily winning by 32. You gotta love Jim’s wife Julie rocking a Boeheim vs. Boeheim shirt courtside.

Next year we’ll get Jim’s other son, Buddy Boeheim, a three star Cuse recruit, hopefully against Jimmy in a brother vs. brother matchup with dad watching on. Crazy shit.

P.S. Sorry to all the haters that thought I was a front-running Duke fan
