Down Goes Penn State

It was 21-3 before you could blink. Saquon Barkley ran back the opening kickoff untouched. Ohio State was wearing some of the worst uniforms in the history of fabrics and stitching. Nothing was going their way. And it just didn’t matter.

Ohio State climbed back to make it 28-20 when Trace McSorely threw up a prayer that Denzel Ward picked off. Maybe. Kind of. Not exactly. Ward got the ball RIPPED from his clutches and Penn State went up 15. With 7:30 left in the third quarter and a momentum swing like that, Ohio State should’ve been dead in the water.

But Denzel Ward and ninth year QB J.T. Barrett didn’t hear no bell! Ward blocked a punt to set up an immediate tuddy while Barrett finished the game with 16 straight completions with 3 of his 4 TDs coming in the fourth quarter.
