MSNBC Political Journalist Mark Halperin Ousted After Allegations He Sexually Harassed 5 Women While Head of ABC News

NY Post…Halperin, the co-author of best-selling book “Game Change,” was accused in a CNN report of groping the women in the 2000s while he worked as ABC News’ political director.

“During this period, I did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me,” said Halperin, who serves as a political analyst on NBC and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation.”

Unfortunately tons of these stories coming out after the Harvey Weinstein situation and we’ve got another one with MSNBC political contributor Mark Halperin. Bad. Powerful people taking advantage of less powerful people, and far too often it’s powerful men taking advantage sexually of less powerful women.

I’ve never understood the appeal of groping. Why grope? What’s the point? Aren’t you just teasing yourself? Not only do you have to be a scumbag to grope women that are not interested in you groping them, but don’t you have to be a mentally troubled lunatic to enjoy it? Who the hell is walking around enjoying touching women that blatantly don’t want you touching them? Bunch of psychos. Bunch of scumbags. The worst part — for all incidents being reported, there are several times as many not being reported.

Don’t grope women you jerks. Don’t grope anyone. Don’t touch people that don’t want to be touched. Don’t verbally or physically abuse or harass anyone for any reason. It’s pretty simple. Your lusty impulsions ruin other people’s lives.
