Narcoleptic Woman Falls Asleep Whenever She Laughs or Orgasms

Narcolepsy

The UKA MUM has a rare disorder which means her body goes to sleep every time she laughs — or orgasms.

Jessica Southall, 20, has narcolepsy with cataplexy which sees her muscles totally relax as if she is asleep when she experiences some strong emotions.

As well as forcing her to sleep for 13 hours a day, it means the mum’s body “goes to sleep” when she hears a joke, gets really upset or even when she is having sex. …

But it has less amusing side affects, like super-vivid frightening dreams and pre-sleep hallucinations which make her see shadowy figures in her bedroom.

The pregnant mum from Nottingham, north of London, said: “One minute I’ll be there in stitches laughing my head off, not able to stop and the next moment my head is on my chest or I’m lying on the floor. …

“It happens when I orgasm too. When me and my partner were first dating it was near enough every time.”

I have to confess, I’m having a really hard time believing this is a thing. I try to make it my policy not to question the word of 20 year old pregnant moms, but it’s just that I’ve never heard of this in my life, so I’m a little skeptical. Then again, I’ve never first hand witnessed a female orgasm either, and those are supposedly real. So for the purposes of our discussion, I’ll just take Jessica’s word for it and we’ll move on.

That said, Jessica Southall would be the ideal woman to start a family with, wouldn’t she? All the pressure is off. You need to put her health and the well-being of the kids first. Meaning, you are totally off the hook. You never have to bring your A-game, either sexually or socially. No need to make the extra effort to satisfy her or make her laugh. The focus in the bedroom can be all about you finishing early so you don’t knock her unconscious. And you never have to watch whatever dreck makes her laugh like Sex in the City or Girls or whatever. You have free reign to watch the stuff she’d probably hate, like Rick and Morty, South Park or Will Ferrell movies. And the best part is, you’re doing it all for her.

Of course I wouldn’t wish her condition on anyone and hope she finds a cure. For her sake. But I’d be stunned if her baby daddy, who’s living on sexual Easy Street, feels the same way.
