In A Top Headline Contender Of 2017...45 Dudes Dressed As Magnum P.I. For A Bachelor Party Thrown Out Of Detroit Tigers Game For "Catcalling" Women
DETROIT (WJBK) – Saturday night was Star Wars night at Comerica Park but it was a large group of Magnum P.I. impersonators who stole the attention of security.
45 men dressed as Thomas Magnum, the Tom Selleck iconic character in the 1980s TV show Magnum P.I., were tossed out of the ballpark Saturday. The huge group was at the game for Joe Tuccini’s bachelor party.
The Allen Park resident told FOX 2 that the Tigers told him they were ejected for ‘catcalling’ but he says that’s not true. He said that he thinks the Tigers security escorted him out of the ballpark because the group was drawing attention away from the Tigers – who lost 10-4 to the White Sox.
Hmmm this is a tough one. On the one hand I definitely don’t want to advocate catcalling or anything that would make women uncomfortable. I love women. I respect women. I want women to be able to attend a ballgame and feel completely safe.
On the other hand I just simply can’t ignore one of the greatest sports story headlines I’ve ever seen. 45 dudes all dressed as Magnum PI for a bachelor party – (Who the fuck has 45 friends you might ask? A guy who has a Magnum PI themed bachelor party that’s who. Everyone wants to be boys with the guy who dresses up like Tom Selleck in a Hawaiian shirt and heads to the Tigers game) – kicked out of Comerica Park for “catcalling.” The thing that construction workers do when hot women walk by them on the street. Just lobbing compliments at allllllll the ladies in the stands while wearing fake moustaches and Hawaiian shirts. 45 Magnum PIs escorted out of the stadium one by one by security.

Or, conflicting report – they were kicked out “because they were drawing attention away from the Tigers.” Yeah okay buddy. Nobody’s watching the Tigers lose 10-4 the White Sox over 45 Magnum PIs.
