The Call Of Duty: WWII Campaign Trailer Has Dropped And It Looks Better Than 99% Of Actual Movies
The Greatest Generation really comes to life. Again. As opposed to the billion and one trailers they’ve dropped already, this one revolves around the actual campaign storyline. And although they’re not showing it, you’d have to imagine it’ll start off with some incarnation of an invasion of Normady…and it should be absolutely incredible. Think about this: The D-Day scene in the original Call Of Duty II was essentially a playable version of Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan opening scene at 32 bits…and it was Earth shatteringly real.
That was total next level gameplay in a subject matter that was never seen before at the time. And that was from a dozen years ago. This game may almost be too realistic to battle, especially with a virtual reality component. I would never joke about real-life shellshock or PSTD from battle, but good Lord this game may need to come with a Surgeon’s General Warning. And as far as the campaign goes, multiplayer will still be king. But at least it should be a good, entertaining, and intense story. Good Lord willing this game will be just as good, if not better than their rival Battlefield. That’s of course assuming this franchise doesn’t learn from its recent mistakes and goes back to basics, which is always a big assumption.
Other than that, CAN WE JUST RELEASE THE DAMN GAME ALREADY. That’s all I can stands and I can’t stands no more. This is about the 18th cockteaser Sledgehammer has released and I’ve blogged about it every damn time. How can I not? I feel I have a certain duty to the masses (pun fucking intended). Also, Kmarko says video game preview trailer blogs KILL with the pageviews so there’s your shameless post.
Maybe if you string them all together you won’t even need to play the damn game anymore.
