This Kid Mowing The White House Lawn Has No Time For The President Of The United States

NBC Washington- President Donald Trump has taken up an offer from an 11-year-old in Virginia to help cut the White House grass. “Frank from Falls Church, Va.,” was helping the grounds crew cut the Rose Garden grass on Friday, according to press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. On Friday, she shared an image of him pushing a lawn mower next to the West Colonnade. Frank Giaccio was so focused on pushing the lawn mower, he didn’t notice Trump had emerged to greet him until the president was next to him in the Rose Garden. Frank got a high-five from the president, who called him “the future of the country.” Frank said he wants to be a Navy SEAL, to which Trump explained, “He’ll make it.”

I hadn’t heard anything about this story so a kid just casually mowing the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue naturally caught my eye. There ‘s so strange shit going on at the White House these days but I didn’t think they’d be that blatant with child labor. Turns out it’s jus ta feel-good story about a kid who started his own lawn mowing business and wanted to show his stuff at the most important house in the country. The best part was him completely ignoring Trump while doing so. Laser focus outta Frank from Falls Church, Virginia. As a former child lawn mowing prodigy myself, I can relate. People don’t know this about me but I loved cutting grass. LOVED it. I contest there’s nothing more peaceful than firing up a lawn mower and cutting grass for a couple hours. It’s a beautiful thing. You get to do a lot of soul searching out on those plots of land. That kid on the White House lawn gets it. Nobody is allowed to fuck up that tranquility. Nobody. Not even the POTUS. Not to mention you don’t wanna mess up those perfect lines. Lawn mowing is an art and that kid was painting his masterpiece. Leave him be.
