Aaron Carter Is Blaming His Terrible Year On Being Gay

Source –  He’s speaking his truth. Aaron Carter penned an emotional note and posted it on Twitter on Saturday, August 5, in which he got honest about his sexual orientation.

Carter, 29, who shot to fame as a child star, has had a tough year. In July, he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and marijuana possession. His girlfriend, Madison Parker, was also arrested and charged with obstruction and drug-related charges. Upon hearing the news of his arrest, his brother Nick Carter took to Twitter to offer his brother assistance, which was not received well.

“If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn’t he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?” Carter said in a statement. “That’s not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin.”

A source exclusively told Us Weekly that Carter has been distant from family, saying, “He doesn’t talk to his family very often and has cut out a lot of his friends.” In June, he was also hospitalized just hours after he vented on Twitter about being body-shamed by fans.

Me when Aaron Carter came out:

Listen, I’m happy that Aaron Carter came out. Good for him. Can’t say I’m surprised considering he posts pictures like this

but who cares, to each his own. Besides, I’m not in the business of making fun of Snap Chat filters. I’m in the business of making fun of real people. And while this isn’t exactly making fun, I think it’s worth stating: the timing of his little announcement is very suspicious. To the point where I don’t know if I believe it.

I know Aaron’s had a tough year; family feuds, twitter meltdowns, arrests. But all he’s doing is playing the victim. May as well have written “sorry, I was into dudes, won’t happen again.” It’s a pathetic excuse for even more pathetic behavior. He didn’t even go about it the right way. Being gay is played out. If he really wanted people to feel bad he would’ve faked trans. Trans is so hot right now.

True or not, his coming out got my wheels turning. Can I use the gay card as an excuse for fuck-ups? “Sorry I missed that deadline, I’m gay.” “Whoops, didn’t mean to lash out, that’s the gay acting up.” Because if I can, this is a game changer.

Listen, if this was a heartfelt post that’s one thing. But it seems like he’s using it as an excuse for his douche- baggery. Either way it’s a win-win for me. If he’s gay and I get to act like a wild man, or he’s not and I look like a genius.
