Just Finished Watching The Last Two Episodes Of Band Of Brothers: I Love Dick Winters

Tomorrow on Zero Blog Thirty, we will be finishing up our Band of Brothers series review. It was my first time watching it and, son of a bitch, is it good.

Finding new heroes in life is a pretty cool thing. It’d be pretty damn impossible to watch, read, or listen to Dick Winters and not walk away with a new hero.

The stories of these men are stories that need to be in the ears of everyone. The struggles that they faced in war are timeless. The humanity that they displayed at times is awe-inspiring. The grudges that they felt towards the Germans in the immediate aftermath of the war is relatable. Common themes surround warriors regardless of generation. It’s been fun pointing those similarities out on the podcast.
