Trump Made His Cabinet Go Around The Room And Praise Him

So Donnie held his first full cabinet meeting today. These things typically go down like this: President makes a short statement, cameras get quick footage, cameras leave and the cabinet conducts its actual meeting in private. But not on Donnie’s watch. Trump delivered lengthy remarks during which he grilled the Democrats for being “obstructionists,” then went around the room having every member praise him.

I’ll be honest, if you’re going to have all the power you sort of have to pull moves like this right? What’s the point of being all powerful if you’re not going to force other powerful people to sit in a circle and talk about how great you are? That’s power 101. Make people say something enough times and they start to believe it themselves. Make people say it AND sit around while everyone around them also says it? Now they’re all in. Make people say it and make sure cameras are there to broadcast it? Well now the entire world’s all in.

Ratings Machine DJT knows what’s up. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next White House press briefing is just Sean Spicer writing “Donald Trump is a great President” on a chalkboard 100 times.

PS — Schumer getting in on the troll game.

PPS — For fun and to compare and get a little blast from the past, here’s Barry’s first cabinet meeting in 2009.
