Star Wars Battlefront II Looks AMAZING

I’m not a huge video game guy. I know that’ll come as a shock to many of you, and it’s very off-brand, but I’m just not. I used to be a big video game guy, did the midnight opening of Call of Duty and Halo and all of that shit, but everything got way too complicated somewhere after Modern Warfare 3. People stared bringing robots and tech and drones into the mix, and I would go 0-12 every round, leading me to realize the landscape had moved past me and left me in the dust.

I was never a bigger video game guy than when the original Xbox was bumpin’ though. Crimson Skies, MechAssault, Halo 2, Far Cry Instincts, Simpsons Hit And Run, and most importantly…Star Wars Battlefront II. The first one was amazing, don’t get me wrong, but the second one is still to this day my favorite game of all time…and the remake looks…dare I say…just as good. Say what you will about the prequels (I’ll say they were shit but still enjoyable) but they make for AMAZING video games. It makes sense, as there was so much CGI being thrown around that the movies basically WERE video games, but Battlefront II 2 focusing on Naboo and Kamino is just utter brilliance at work. I wrote in my last blog about this game that I still play the shit out of the 2015 remake, but this is gonna be a whole new story (literally) and I’m both excited and worried for the release. I think it’s gonna take up every second of my life.

Darth Maul’s reveal in this trailer was also ACES, and the quick sequence between Rey and Kylo Ren made my heart beat a billion miles per second because it’s a glimpse into what might happen in The Last Jedi.
