Wake Up With Wade Boggs Pitching A Scoreless Inning (1997)

I gotta say, I really enjoyed this. I’ve never seen this clip before. Don’t kill me if it’s popular in Yankee circles, but you know I don’t mingle in those. Wade Boggs, Hall of Fame third baseman, is out there chuckin’ knuckleballs like he’s friggin’ Phil Niekro. And honestly, he didn’t look too bad out there. Not the control that you’d like to see, but the preparation that went into that appearance was probably six and a half minutes. If Boggs didn’t happen to be a hitting machine throughout his career, he definitely could’ve done the reverse Rick Ankiel.
