.
I’m not about to say the Patriots deserve all the credit for the Celtics Game 2 win. Not even for a dramatic comeback, in a game that appeared to be over, tying it up late in regulation and then dominating in overtime. I wouldn’t suggest that only Belchick, Matt Patricia, Belichick the Younger and Ernie Adams and his flip phone were responsible for Isaiah Thomas scoring breaking the 50 barrier and doing King of the Fourth things. Or Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown – Danny’s last three No. 1s – getting significant minutes in the late 3rd/early 4th and closing the gap. Or huge buckets by Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley. No. A lot of the credit needs to go to the Celtics. For letting these great American winning machines into the building to piss their excellence all over Washington.
We’re onto Game 3. Roger that.
