Bill O'Reilly Fired. Also, Reportedly Called A Black Employee "Hot Chocolate" And Said Halle Berry Is An Idiot.

So I already blogged O’Reilly this morning but then this Mic story came out and then he got fired so here we are.

RIP to the king of cable news. In sort of related news, this employee claims he called her “hot chocolate.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a black clerical worker at the news network has accused O’Reilly of calling her “hot chocolate” and leering at her in 2008.

Leering at her? Creepy.

This other dude says Bill said this about Halle Berry.

Pretty funny comment if we’re being honest with each other. “Not the sharpest tool in the shed” also works here. “Not the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree” if it were holiday szn.

Also, sup Halle Berry?

Here’s what O’Reilly’s lawyer had to say on the whole thing.

It is outrageous that an allegation from an anonymous person about something that purportedly happened a decade ago is being treated as fact, especially when there is an obviously orchestrated campaign by activists and lawyers to destroy Mr. O’Reilly and enrich themselves through publicity driven donations.

So who knows what’s real and what’s not. Obviously where there’s smoke there’s fire, but also with these types of iconic names being dragged through the mud, there are ALWAYS going to be vultures that pop up and try to capitalize with complete falsehoods. So who knows.

What I do know is that you can’t call black employees “hot chocolate” and leer at them. Very frowned upon. Also know that Billy O just got canned.

He’s old and rich as fuck so he’ll be fine, but his reputation may not be.
