Fox Reporting That Trump Was "Spending Weekend Working At The White House," When He Was Golfing, Is Incredible

Couple things here. One, calling it a “news alert” to say Trump is working at the White House is preposterous. That’s maybe the most Barstool blogger tweet by a non-Barstool blogger I’ve ever seen. This is what we do — Arrive at the office before 9AM? Tweet out a video. Here past 5? Write a blog about how you’re writing a blog past 5. Stop by on a Saturday to use the shitter? Instagram a pic of you sitting in the podcast studio while you’re here. Make sure everyone knows you’re doing your job, which you get paid to do, especially when you’re doing it at untraditional times.

It’s a ridiculous “news alert” even if it were true.

Two, it’s not even fully true. Trump was blatantly golfing.

I’m a golf guy. I don’t mind it. But Fox tossing out a “news alert” just announcing that Donnie’s spending the weekend working at his place of work — when he kinda wasn’t — is crazy.
