Paul Ryan Shits On Donald Trump In Newly Released Audio

Breitbart — In the Oct. 10, 2016 call, from right after the Access Hollywood tape of Trump was leaked in the weeks leading up to the election, Ryan does not specify that he will never defend Trump on just the Access Hollywood tape—he says clearly he is done with Trump altogether.

“I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future,” Ryan says in the audio, obtained by Breitbart News and published here for the first time ever.

It really is amazing how wrong not just the media was, not just the polls were, but how wrong EVERYONE was about Trump. Breitbart just released this audio of Paul Ryan shortly after the “grab them by the pussy” video got out and he’s clearly in damage control city. Distancing himself as much as possible from The Donald. Giving Trump basically zero chance and admitting he’s not only concerned Hillary’s gonna win, he’s concerned she’s gonna take Congress in the process.

Sure, the audio is interesting — it’s compelling to hear the sitting Speaker Of The House openly say to his colleagues that he’s not going to support his party’s nominee for president less than a month before the election, but it’s not a surprise. It was never a surprise. We knew what he said at the time; Paul Ryan found himself in no man’s land with Donnie the second he was nominated and he’s in no man’s land with him now. How wouldn’t he be? Trump’s a man Ryan clearly despises; a man he thought had no chance of winning; a man who speaks and acts and carries himself the exact opposite of what traditional conservatives look up to; a man who won the Republican nomination, won the election, and now sits atop the highest office in the land doing pretty much whatever the fuck he wants.
