Flowetry In Motion: It's The 2017 Minnesota State High School All Hockey Hair Team

It’s one of the most important days on the calendar every single year. Christmas, the 4th of July, the day the new All Hockey Hair Team video gets released. The boys in Minny show up every year with immortality on the line. Sure, a state championship sure would be great. But we’re talking about making the All Hockey Hair Team. Think about it. At least 36-40 kids per year are state champions in Minnesota between the 2 divisions. Only 10 are named to the All Hockey Hair team every year. So it’s a much more exclusive club to be in. It’s like the Heisman club but only better. And just like that, another year of flow has come and gone. Shoutout to @GameOnMinnesota for crushing the video per usual and shoutout to Warrior for teaming up with them to use the AHH Video as a way to raise money for the Hendrickson Foundation which benefits disabled hockey players.

Now the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament has gained a ton of notoriety over the past few years. Plenty of that has to do with these videos. So unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, we’ve seen pretty much all of these crunchy salads before the video was released. So even though we’ve already got a sneak peak of the All Hockey Hair team, here are a few personal favorites.

“Are those mud flaps on your 18 wheeler??”

The Charlie Sheen. Party in the back AND the front.

“They don’t tell you his middle name is ‘Olive’ because he brought unlimited salad to the tournament for everyone. “

And this kid right here? Well this, folks, is how legends are born.

So that wraps up another incredible year in which we were blessed by the Flow Gods. In case you’re interested in how the actual tournament itself went, we’ll have more on that tomorrow. But Grand Rapids is your AA State Champs after taking down #1 Eden Prairie in the semis. And Hermantown–errr HairManTown–won the A division championship in double overtime. All the highlights will probably be in the Dangle Days blog tomorrow. So for now, enjoy the flow and be on the lookout for how to get your hands on one of these Flowetry In Motion lids from Warrior. All proceeds from the hat sales will be going directly to the Hendrickson Foundation. So you get a little piece of history and you get to donate to a great cause.
