Philly Cop Injured As Flash Mob Involving HUNDREDS Of Teens Cause Havoc In Center City

Philly – A police officer suffered minor injuries after responding to a report of hundreds of teenagers causing havoc Monday evening in Center City, police said. Police were called to the area of the 1500 block of Chestnut Street shortly before 5:30 to respond to a large group of teens fighting, police said. The officer was hurt as police tried to control the crowd. Further incidents were reported in the area, and a number of juveniles were taken into custody for disorderly conduct and failing to disperse. SEPTA Transit Police Chief Thomas J. Nestel III said his officers made 10 arrests. Police Commissioner Richard Ross said Tuesday morning, police were awaiting a decision from the District Attorney’s Office on possible aggravated assault charges against four teens. “It was a half-day for schools today, but we have this problem every day. Today was admittedly the worst that I have seen,” Nestel said.

Whoa there – HUNDREDS of kids. Think about that. How nervous would you get surrounded by a dozen or so people?. Now multiple that by at least 10. It’s unfathomable. With that amount of people you don’t have a flash mob. You have a motherfucking ARMY. It’s like the highlanders coming down on their own by the hundreds and thousands. But instead of the Scottish uniting against the tyranny of the English it’s teenagers descending from North, West, and South Philly to…I don’t even know. Protest? Fight? Break the Guiness Book Of World Record for a circle jerk? One thing’s for damn sure, this going down before the sunset is some seriously scary shit. Strutting hammered and alone at 3 am in Philly isn’t the smartest play in the book. And doing it in some parts of the city is essentially a death wish. But having to worry about getting run over by a stampede of whippersnappers with zero after school activities is not ideal. Head on a swivel, Philly.
