Golf Channel- Tiger Woods has arrived for this week’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic, but not without being delayed by an airport protest over a recent executive order from President Donald Trump. Woods stayed in San Diego last week after missing the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open, then flew to Dubai via Los Angeles International Airport. But when he arrived at the Tom Bradley International Terminal on Sunday, Woods found himself in the middle of a widespread protest over Trump’s recent order that banned travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. According to an ESPN report, Woods took a private jet from San Diego to L.A. but was planning to board what he estimated to be his first commercial flight in 10 years from L.A. to Dubai.  “We were on the other side of the terminal. You could see it,” Woods said. “But we just couldn’t get there.” Woods reportedly arrived only 30 minutes before the flight was scheduled to depart, but he was able to board and landed in Dubai at approximately 3 a.m. local time.

Alright I’ve said all along that I’m fully on board with peaceful protests. They are a part of this country………until they almost stop Tiger Woods from making it to a tournament. That’s where I draw the line on whether or not I’m cool with protesting. It’s not about blocking traffic for me. It’s not about smelly hippies on the street holding signs in my face. It’s about whether or not my guy Tiger can get to Dubai or not. Luckily for those protestors Tiger was able to make his flight and he made it to Dubai. Close call. If you’re gonna protest, that’s fine. Just don’t get in Tiger’s way. Got it? Okay cool.

Also, this is a pretty wild tid bit

According to an ESPN report, Woods took a private jet from San Diego to L.A. but was planning to board what he estimated to be his first commercial flight in 10 years from L.A. to Dubai.

10 YEARS. Tiger had mentioned after missing the cut at Torrey Pines that he was a little worried about the long flight to Dubai. That struck me as a little odd coming from a guy with a private jet. Not anymore. This is why. He flew commercial. I’m pretty sure that’s like a 17 hour flight or some shit. 17 hours flying commercial is a whole hell of a lot different than flying 17 hours in a private jet I would imagine. Ts and Ps to Tiger’s back and knees and whatever else is breaking on his body.
