Amazing. In a day full of amazing moments, and many amazing moments to come, that one stole the show for me. Good ol’ Average Joe Biden hopping on an Amtrak to leave Washington D.C. forever. Thumbs up and all. Average Joe through and through. Biden also strikes me as a guy who looooooooooooooves trains. Loves them. Not only loves them but knows everything about them. He has a child-like lovable demeanor where he is absolutely still in awe of how trains work. He gets a kick out of the clickity clack of the rail. Probably even has a conductor hat. Just wait until he discovers airplanes. He’s gonna be floored.
