A Full Recap Of Smylie Kaufman And Jordan Spieth Going Kayaking

So I put up a short blog about this last night but I feel it’s necessary to go a little more in-depth on Smylie and Jordan’s kayaking journey in Hawaii.

It started on Golf Channel with a shirtless interview with Todd Lewis. Just guys being dudes.

A little Justin Thomas/59 talk. I agree with Spieth here. Needed a little more fire and a little more excitement from JT when he sank the eagle putt for 59. Maybe that’s just JT now. He’s playing so well that expects putts like that to drop. However, if that was me, and I sank a putt for a 59 (or a 99 in my case) I’d take my pants off right then and there.

You know what’s way harder than it looks? Casting. It’s impossible so I feel Smylie’s pain here. One of the first times I went fishing as a kid I put a hook right through my thumb on a casting attempt. I’ve been scared of it ever since. Spieth is lucky he didn’t catch a hook in the eye ball here.

Getting into the kayak for some fun in the sun

Laugh out loud funny that one the best young golfers in the world is just kayaking out and about in Hawaii.

This next part was all fun and games at first but I actually feared for their safety near the end. This is gonna be a weird comparison but that video clip is a lot like tickling. Super funny at first and everyone involved is having a good time. Then it lasts a litttttttttttle too long and all of a sudden it’s not funny and instead it’s a nightmare.

Luckily everything turned out okay

So there ya go. That’s the recap of Smylie and Spieth out on the high seas. Nobody better than this young crop of golfers. You never know what they’re gonna do next. One second they’ll be tearing up golf courses and the next second they’re chasing sea turtles on a kayak in a Hawaii. #SB2K17 finna be so lit.
