Fox NewsA Roseville, Mich., man is becoming Facebook famous after he posted a picture of a ticket he received from a Roseville cop for warming up his vehicle in his own driveway.

Nick Taylor posted the sarcastic Facebook post on Thursday, thanking the officer who gave him the ticket. According to the picture, the ticket is for his car that was left running in the driveway with no one around.

“I’ve never heard of any city ordinance of law like that,” Taylor said.

On Thursday, it was frigidly cold and he wanted to keep his car running while he ran into his girlfriend’s house. But he left it unlocked with the key in the ignition. Chief James Berlin said that’s a problem.

I know this may be a little surprising but I’m 100% with the cop on this one. Yes lots of people are cold but wayyyy more people are fucking stupid. I actually know a chick who left her car running, went into the gas station, came out and poof it was gone. She was stunned, Facebooked about it crying like it was the unluckiest thing ever. Couldn’t believe it.

Hey dumbass, people steal shit. Ever heard of locks and keys? This cop isn’t a villain he’s a hero. You wouldn’t toss your wallet on the sidewalk, leave it and expect it to be there when you return. Imagine a world where we’ve got running cars everywhere and no one behind the wheel? That’s not a society that’s a madhouse.

Oh boo hoo you’ll be cold for the 90 seconds it takes for your car to warm up. Sack up. Coldness is mental. And I’m not a hardo I’m definitely a pussy about plenty of things. Nick here is lucky he wasn’t warming his car up in North Korea: “Nick Taylor posted the sarcastic Facebook post on Thursday, thanking the officer who gave him the ticket.” Pretty sure KJU would strap you to a nuke for that.

Chief Berlin gets it: “This is purely a public safety issue. You can’t do it.” Amen Chief.
