Tom Brady Sleeps In Tshirts And That's The Most Disparaging Thing You Can Say About Him

Jerry posted about Brady’s sleepwear line this morning, in case you missed it, but I gotta tell you… this bothers me. It takes a lot for me to talk bad about Tom Brady, in fact I’ve never once done it in my life, but this? This is too much. I’ll run out an buy pink salt if Tom says that’s what he eats, I’ll go buy tomatoes just to throw tomatoes away if Tom says nightshades are a thing that exist and he doesn’t like them, but sleeping in clothes? That’s where I’m out. If you want to say you sleep in briefs then fine, I’ll allow that. But sleeping in a top is the move of a loon. It’s uncomfortable, it bunches up all over the place, you can wake up with wrinkle lines in your body that make you wonder what skin disease you contracted in REM cycle while you wipe sleep from your eyes. It’s terrible, top to bottom. The entire sleep experience from finally falling asleep to waking up is inferior when you’re wearing clothes.

Now that’s not to say I won’t buy this shirt. I will. It’s a dope three-quarter henley that I’ll wear around town. But wear it in bed? Even the cavemen were smart enough to know wearing shirts to sleep is crazy.

PS – Naps are exempt here, of course. But a nap is when you fall asleep unwittingly. If you think, “Ok it’s time to go lay down and get some Zs” then keep your shirt on you are depriving yourself of a better sleep. I only need like three hours a night and I attribute that entirely to my lack of clothing.
