I understand what Duf Daddy is trying to say here and I agree with him. The word “counseling” gets thrown around a lot whenever a college or pro player gets in any sort of trouble. It’s kind of a blanket statement that people say to stop the bleeding for whatever the player has done. DUIs, assault, sex addiction (sup Eldrick) or even tripping. Critics see the word “counseling” and are less inclined to rip into the player cause then it turns into a mental health issue. Now I don’t know shit about Grayson Allen but I am 100% sure that’s what’s going on in this instance. Grayson Allen doesn’t need counseling and everyone involved knows that. The kid is just an immature asshole who plays for Duke. I agree with Dufner when he says Allen isn’t trying to hurt anybody. He’s just being who he is. Not to mention it’s incredibly entertaining to watch. I say let the kid play. He doesn’t need counseling. He’s a 21-year-old kid who likes to trip people from time to time. He’ll learn. Or he won’t and he’ll continue to trip people and that’ll be hilarious. Either way, Duf is spot on with his analysis here.

PS- I would love to see current day Jason Dufner in a foot race. I bet he’d dust KFC in a 40 yard dash.
