Summer Of J.R. Update: He Is Hanging Out With Dustin Johnson On The PGA Tour

To the untrained eye, it would appear that the Summer of J.R. is slowing down. Usually when you see a fully-shirted NBA player hitting golf balls with PGA pros, it means that a nice quiet 18 is about to be played, followed by maybe a few beers and stories from the previous season. But once you find out that the NBA player is J.R. Smith and the PGA pro is Dustin Johnson, you realize that this is completely different. Because a night of partying with Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky is EXACTLY the jumpstart the Summer of J.R. needs to get rolling again like getting three mushrooms in Mario Kart. The Mega Powers are uniting. By tomorrow, J.R. will have popped his top off again for another bender and order will be restored.

Shit, when push comes to shove, J.R. may be the prude of the three. Young Swish was probably watching Kyrie partying with his fleet of Beckys and thought it was time to raise the stakes. And partying with the Johnsons is basically the partying version of Russian roulette. Pedal to the metal with nothing but empty bottles, headaches, and foggy stories in the morning.

That being said, even with a ring and a baby, there is no way Dustin Johnson can leave Paulina alone with J.R. tonight.
