Bubba Watson Is Wearing High Tops Now So They're Officially Not Cool Anymore

End of an era. An era that lasted a full 6 months. High tops in golf are no longer cool. Rickie Fowler debuted his high top golf shoes at Kapalua in January and now they’re dead by June thanks to Bubba Watson. It’s a shame, too. I really like the high top look. They were a breath of fresh air in a sport that needs all the fresh air it can get. I don’t even really hate the shoes that Bubba is wearing. It’s the simple fact that Bubba is wearing them. He saw his good friend Rickie wearing them and decided he’d strap on a pair himself. Forgetting the part where he’s lame-o Bubba Watson. Put those shoes on somebody like Keegan Bradley and I’m all in. #AnybodyButBubba
